Calendars and Apple Reminders

Show Google, Outlook, Exchange and iCloud calendars and your Apple Reminders lists in your day, and send tasks back to Reminders.

ThisDay can show the calendars and Reminders lists you already have, in the same day as everything else. It reads them on your device.

Calendars

Any calendar you have added to your iPhone, iPad or Mac (Google, Outlook, Exchange, iCloud and others) can show in ThisDay.

  1. Open Settings, Calendars.
  2. Allow access when asked.
  3. Choose which calendars to show.

Your choice follows you to your other devices, matched by account and calendar name.

Adding to an outside event

An event from another calendar can still get a category, details, an early alert and a countdown in ThisDay. Those stay in ThisDay; the event in its own calendar is not changed.

Apple Reminders

  1. Open Settings, Apple Reminders.
  2. Allow access when asked.
  3. Choose the lists you want in your day.

Reminders from those lists appear on their days, beside everything else.

Sending tasks to Reminders

Optionally, ThisDay can write its own tasks to Apple Reminders too, so they show on any device or app that reads Reminders. Turn it on in the same place.

If a calendar does not show

  • Check Settings, Calendars in ThisDay, and that the calendar is chosen there.
  • Check that the account is on the device, in the iOS Settings app under Apps, Calendar, Calendar Accounts.
  • A calendar shared to you can take a few minutes to arrive on a new device.
